The Roseanne Set

Yes, the set is still standing and alive and well. I got a comment on my facebook page from my friend Asa Benally that I met at the Seagle Colony in New York saying that the Roseanne set had also been used for the TV show Family Matters. Although I don’t personally see it, I did find out that the set has been modified and used for many other productions. Here is a picture of the set now, still at Lacy Studios that I found on Flikr.

  1. The set from ‘Roseanne’ was never used on ‘Family Matters’. In fact, in the pilot episode of ‘Family Matters’ the Winslow’s living room was the borrowed living room (with some slight alterations) from the Hogan’s of ‘The Hogan Family’ (a.k.a. Valerie/Valerie’s Family). There are even some features of the Hogan’s kitchen that seem to sneak up in the Winslow’s kitchen as well. This is no surprise since both shows are from the same production company, Miller-Boyett Productions, and tends to happen quite often in TV land.

    1. Yeah I tried to find pics of the set of family matters but couldn’t. I never really got into that show, I was more of a full house kid.
