NSF…

As the people who love me most already know, technically I don’t exist.  The only real proof of my existence is I have a drivers license, massage license, and the typical birth certificate and social security number, but besides that I have NO paper trail.  After recent experiences, many of the people who once chastised me for not having things like a bank account, car payment, a dozen credit cards (I don’t even have a blockbuster card), and pretty much any form of credit are beginning to fallow my lead.

Thanksgiving with the Thyme Family

Yesterday I joined the rest of my brood to feast on a large bird carcass and various other things that grow from the ground.  Every year is a little different, but my family has now evolved beyond the fighting, crying fits that used to be Thyme family holidays.  We have a good time together now but of course it wasn’t without its controversy… This year the first big stink was about this upcoming Christmas.  My mom proposed that we start a “Chinese Christmas” however racially sound that may be… I think white elephant gift exchange is a more PC term… […]

Other People’s Friends…

Interacting with other people’s friends is so awkward, especially when they feel they *have* to interact with you.  Take instant messages for example – if you are on someone else’s computer, or you happen to walk by someone else’s computer and notice a message for them, why would you reply to the message? This is so annoying to me, especially when the person tries to make conversation.  And really the only people who would do that are psychotic boyfriends/girlfriends that just want to snoop around and get even.  I hate this situation so bad I’ve gotten to where I just […]

Prop (H)8

All over the country groups have begun protesting a law that doesn’t even apply to their state, California’s PROP 8.  Why is the entire country so involved with California law?  Because Prop 8, in essence, is the Gettysburg of the Gay civil rights movement. Last week I wrote an article about prop 8 being the last thing we have left to fight for, but as I’ve looked into it more I’ve found that’s pretty far from the truth.  Much as the United States electing its first black president is a monumental turning point for the rest of the world so […]

Barren Old School Morm

It’s been a relatively slow weekend, there was almost NOTHING bloggable.  I wrote one of the worst blogs to date, seriously it was bad I had to take it down.  It’s not that it was offensive, it was just “special class” quality and literally NOBODY read it.  I fallowed it up with a blog bitching about the Republican Party falling apart… big surprise.  I scoured the internet, too.  There was really NOTHING interesting happening this weekend.  My life was 100% un-interesting as well.  I’ve had the weirdest week of allergies so Saturday I had this weird vertigo thing going on […]

Republicanland

I’ve been noticing a lot, especially in the wake of the revolution that the majority of the Republican Party doesn’t even exist on the same plane of reality as the rest of the country, or each other for that matter.  Jim DeMint, a Republican representative from South Carolina recently spoke to GOP officials in Myrtle Beach and, of course, had some good old fashioned Republican style criticism to throw around. It seems to me that every Republican seems to now have different opinions as to what it means to be a Republican.  Sen. DeMint seems to think that the foundation […]

And again it rears it’s ugly head… Palin speaks.

Don’t let the munchkins start singing yet – Palin has yet to be silenced.  You would think after the trainwreck that was her and her running mate’s campaign she would learn to keep her mouth shut but here she is again, growing scarier. At a meeting with the Republican Governers Association she stated that they should not become the negative party, yet took a few cheap jabs at Obama during the course of her speech.  She also mentioned that she met a few VIP’s who impact society like TINA FEY…  when you know inside she’s really saying “that bitch.  She […]
