Adam Effin Lame-bert.

OK, how much louder can I scream this – I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE ADAM LAMBERT!!!! And this is just a recent developement.  I liked all of his performances that I watched on Idol, or rather the performances my friends who watch idol made me sit through.  I don’t watch American Idol, I make it a point not to.  I thought it was funny how everyone thought his version of Mad World was so very original when it was actually an exact reproduction of the version Michael Andrews and Gary Jules did for the Donnie Darko soundtrack.  But either way on Idol he was […]

On a SWIFT road straight back to the ghetto from whence he came.

What am I? Out of the loop. What else am I? Nosey. It’s bad. I’m so that guy that can detect scandal and generalized gossip from across the room and BOLTS to the epicenter to say “what? what’s happening? who are we talking about?” Usually the guy everybody hates but typically people LOVE to give the juicy bits up when I ask. Folks love to tell me stuff, always have, no clue why. I shouldn’t be trusted. Anyway, here I am, an entire MONTH late, to talk about what all happened at the VMA’s. Everybody’s caught up with the whole […]

This song, “Bad Romance” is built for the runway. It’s pointless, talks about love but in a generalized but off-beat way, has an easy beat to strut to, talks about fashion… Everything about it SCREAMS runway. And I always love Alexander McQueen. He’s weird. Eccentric. Great friends with Christian Lacroix. He always makes stuff that’s fun to look at. This year his line is inspired by Atlantis, ad this is […]

Syphilis? Really??

Tonight marked the beginning of my labor with our final show here.  I got back to Wig World where I live during the show and one of the singers was sitting in the chair at my station with a chi straightening iron and a head full of tight curly hair.  There was still about an hour until they were supposed to be on stage so she asked me to straighten her hair – which I had never done in my entire life.  I had a flat iron like 6 years ago I’d use on my own board straight hair to […]
